Information provided in enquiries
Privacy
Personal data controller
Global Digital Identity Ltd is responsible for the personal data described in this notice. Contact: contact@com.bible.
Information supplied and receipt of enquiries
We use your name, email address, organisation or project, role, country and message to assess and respond to your enquiry. Identification fields and confirmation of the acquisition purpose are required for acquisition enquiries; organisation or project, role and country are optional for general enquiries. For offers and payment proposals, we also process the amounts, currency, conditions and schedule supplied. Do not include sensitive personal information.
Information marked as required is needed to record and assess the enquiry; without it, submission cannot be completed. Receipt means that the enquiry has been recorded. An additional email notification, where enabled, does not determine whether it has been received. Recording an enquiry does not mean a proposal has been accepted.
Technical records and abuse prevention
The form records an enquiry reference, submission time, language, processing status and browser information. It processes the network address to generate a pseudonymised value used to limit repeated submissions; the form's enquiry record does not store the plain IP address. This value is also kept with the enquiry. Separate rate-control records older than 48 hours are removed when the form next processes a request. These records support reception and abuse prevention, not advertising, commercial profiling or behavioural analytics.
Purposes and lawful bases
When you personally intend to enter into a contract and request necessary pre-contractual steps, we use the relevant contact and proposal details on the basis of Article 6(1)(b) of the UK GDPR. For enquiries made on behalf of an organisation, and other professional enquiries, we use contact, capacity and correspondence details under Article 6(1)(f): our legitimate interests in assessing and answering enquiries, verifying representation and negotiating a possible sale. The same basis supports necessary technical processing to protect the form against abuse and maintain relevant negotiation records, subject to the retention limits below. To handle privacy requests and complaints, we use contact details, the request and necessary verification information to meet applicable legal obligations under Article 6(1)(c). Acknowledging this notice is not consent to unrelated processing.
Access and service providers
Authorised people within Global Digital Identity Ltd handle enquiries and related requests. Providers supporting hosting, electronic records, security and communications may process the information needed for those services. When email notifications are enabled, the relevant enquiry details are also processed through that communications service.
Retention
Personal data relating to acquisition enquiries and proposals that do not result in a transaction is normally retained for 24 months from the last substantive contact about that enquiry or proposal. At the end of that period, it must be deleted or anonymised.
Additional retention requires a specific, documented reason, such as an active negotiation, a legal or regulatory obligation, fraud prevention or investigation, a dispute or complaint, or a concrete need to establish, exercise or defend legal rights.
Records must be reviewed at least annually, including before the 24-month period ends when information is no longer needed for a legitimate purpose. Personal data must not remain identifiable longer than necessary for the purpose for which it was collected.
This standard period does not automatically apply to completed transactions, contracts, tax records or other records subject to their own legal retention requirements.
Other general correspondence must be kept only as needed to answer and follow up on the enquiry. Privacy-request and complaint records must be limited to what is necessary to handle the matter, demonstrate compliance or address a specific dispute. Technical records must be limited to operational and security needs, taking account of any active incident. These categories do not automatically inherit the 24-month period.
International transfers
We may use service providers to support certain operations. Where processing involves an international transfer subject to applicable data protection rules, we will adopt the legal mechanism and safeguards appropriate to that transfer. Information about applicable transfers and safeguards can be requested at contact@com.bible.
Your rights
Subject to the applicable conditions, you may request access, correction, erasure or restriction of your personal data, and portability where that right applies.
You may also object to processing based on legitimate interests.
Send requests to contact@com.bible. An authorised person within the company handles requests and may seek information necessary to verify your identity. Enquiries are reviewed by people; this process does not involve decisions based solely on automated processing that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.
For privacy questions or complaints, write to contact@com.bible. You may also complain to the ICO, the UK's data protection authority.
Terms
Terms
Scope of the acquisition
The proposed acquisition concerns the domain name com.bible and the ability to manage subdomains under it, subject to the applicable registration rules. It does not include the .bible top-level domain, its registry or authority delegated by ICANN.
Materials and third-party rights
Websites, source code, images, content, data, software, trademarks and other materials are included only if expressly identified in the definitive acquisition agreement and the seller has the necessary rights to transfer them. Illustrative services are not an operating business included in the sale. The acquisition does not itself confer rights in biblical texts, translations or other third-party content.
Renewal and ongoing costs
After completion, the buyer is responsible for domain renewal and any registrar, hosting and operating costs, as allocated in the agreement. The current renewal fee, renewal date and any transfer or service fees must be checked with the registrar and confirmed before signing. The acquisition price is not a lifetime renewal payment.
Verification, payment and transfer
Before any payment or transfer, the parties must verify domain ownership, the authority of their representatives and the applicable registration and transfer requirements, and agree in writing on price, currency, fees, payment, transfer and completion conditions. Independent escrow may be considered by agreement; no provider is appointed by this website. For instalments, the agreement must define who holds and controls the domain during payment and when it transfers. These website terms do not replace the definitive acquisition agreement.
Search and artificial intelligence visibility
Discovery in search and AI answers depends on reliable content, technical quality and references. The domain alone does not guarantee visibility, rankings or citations.
Purpose of the acquisition
The domain can support institutional, publishing, educational or professional projects related to the Bible. You may express interest independently or on behalf of an organization.
Enquiries and negotiations
Submitting an enquiry does not reserve the domain or create an obligation to conclude a transaction. Receipt of an enquiry is not acceptance of an offer.
Applicable rights
A purpose declaration records the stated intention; it does not determine legal status or waive rights. Each transaction remains subject to applicable law and any rights or protections that cannot lawfully be excluded.
